Chief Executive Officer

With over two decades in gas pipelines and energy  infrastructure, Pearse has led development, engineering, construction, and emergency response across major international gas infrastructure programs.

He delivered 4,500 km of pipeline design at Shell and 400 km of new corridor routes at Santos, supporting mega-scale gas field development. 

Qualified a PMP®, RMP®, and CSCP, Pearse’s experience includes solar, wind, green & renewable hydrogen, SAF & HVO production, and HVO GT power plants.

As founder, Pearse positions BOOM as a leader in hydrogen infrastructure, ensuring technical and commercial discipline through every stage of project delivery.

Chief Operations Officer

With 25+ years at CEPSA, Jagoba led operations, growth, and energy infrastructure delivery across Europe and Latin America.

He managed the €1B Caracara field lifecycle, holding senior roles in O&M, asset management, joint ventures, and commercial execution across 11 countries.

As Growth Director, he built and led multi-country partnerships and portfolio expansion, aligning capital efficiency with long-term strategic growth.

At BOOM, Jagoba oversees operations, business development, and strategic partnerships - ensuring delivery performance, regulatory integration, and commercial scale-up across BOOM’s hydrogen infrastructure portfolio.

CO-FOUNDER & CTO 

Chief Technical Officer

 With 30+ years in gas and hydrogen infrastructure, Javier is a specialist in hydrogen infrastructure development, assurance, safety, permitting, and design strategy.

At Nortegas and Naturgas Energía, he directed departments across the full life-cycle; from Infrastructure Development and Engineering & Innovation, to Construction and Transport Operations.

He has directed award-winning hydrogen projects including H2SAREA  (blending / deblending) and H2BIDEA (100% hydrogen valley) plus more than 20 pipelines and large-scale energy facilities.

At BOOM, he leads  technical strategy, regulatory compliance, engineering, execution, safety alignment, and systems integration.

SENIOR ADVISOR - 

CORPORATE STRATEGY & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT 

Carlos is a seasoned energy executive with a proven track record in asset management, business growth, and governance.

The former CEO of Mitsubishi Power Europe, Carlos founded its 1st Spanish subsidiary and scaled operations to 10 countries, leading multi-market strategy and hydrogen transition programs. At AES, he oversaw facility EPC, gas pipelines O&M, and safe operations of power plants.

Now VP of Business Development at TES, he advances green hydrogen and e-NG projects in partnership with IPPs, OEMs, and renewable developers.

At BOOM, Carlos supports corporate governance, strategic growth, and the design of profitable, scalable energy infrastructure ventures.

CHIEF PIPELINES & INTEGRITY OFFICER

With 25+ years in pipeline operations, Andrew is a specialist in safety-critical infrastructure operations and asset integrity of large-scale gas systems.

As Global Integrity Manager & Technical Authority (TA2) at BG Group, he held global responsibility for €10B+ of infrastructure - overseeing many thousands of kilometres of high-pressure pipelines, processing plants, and LNG terminals across continents.

On the 810km Trans-Adriatic Pipeline, he served as Technical and Integrity Manager, ensuring safe, reliable operations through every project phase.

At BOOM, Andrew leads, integrity management, operational readiness, risk management, and O&M philosophies to embed risk reduction and safety excellence in every system.

CHIEF PIPELINE OPERATIONS & GOVERNANCE OFFICER

With 24+ years in critical energy infrastructure, Cristina specialises in pipeline operations, governance, asset management, and regulated energy networks.

As Global COO at Exolum, she held full P&L accountability across international supply chains, storage terminals, and pipeline systems, leading operational excellence and digital transformation.

Earlier, as Director of Pipeline Operations, she improved network reliability to 98%, authored the company's first Pipeline Integrity Manual, and advanced operational control & energy efficiency.

At BOOM, leading operator readiness, governance, and transition to operations, helping establish the structures and frameworks required to become a trusted hydrogen pipeline operator in Spain.

 CHIEF LEGAL & COMMERCIAL OFFICER 

With 20+ years in international energy, infrastructure, and major projects, Alexey specialises in strategic partnerships, deal structuring, and complex commercial negotiations.

He has held senior legal and commercial roles at ADNOC, Shell, CEPSA, and Sakhalin Energy, supporting LNG, pipelines, renewables, and large-scale infrastructure projects globally.

His experience spans international joint ventures, EPC contracts, and strategic partnerships, with a proven ability to align counterparty interests, allocate risk fairly, and negotiate commercially attractive outcomes. 

At BOOM, Alexey leads commercial structuring, strategic partnerships, and legal affairs, supporting the development of a trusted hydrogen infrastructure business.

PROCESS ENGINEERING & DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

With 35 years in process engineering and project management, Andrew specialises in hydrogen system design, process safety, and feasibility studies.

He managed the 3 GW Hydrogen Project (CQH2) feasibility and contributed to the QCLNG Project, one of the world’s largest coal seam gas-to-LNG programs, leading pipeline and compression design.

His experience spans green hydrogen, e-ammonia, methanol, SAF, CO₂ capture, water treatment, and electrolyser integration, with expertise in vessels, compression, and HAZOP facilitation.

At BOOM, Andrew leads process engineering and development studies to ensure projects are technically sound, safe, and de-risked from concept through execution.

H2 PIPELINE ENGINEERING  & EXECUTION DIRECTOR

With 40+ years in pipeline engineering and project delivery, Jan is a specialist in hydrogen pipeline systems, transport infrastructure, and execution.

As a Hydrogen Infrastructure Technical Authority, he has led detailed engineering for hydrogen pipelines and associated facilities, working with TSOs on the integration of storage, compression, blending, and transmission systems.

His expertise spans concept and feasibility, FEED, detailed design, construction, and operational readiness, ensuring alignment with safety, permitting, and operational requirements.

At BOOM, Jan consults on pipeline design, systems integration, and execution, ensuring every solution is technically robust, operable, and execution ready.

 ECONOMIC ANALYSIS & MODELLING LEAD 

With 20+ years in financial leadership, business transformation, and strategic planning, Javier specialises in economic analysis, valuation, and financial modelling for large-scale energy infrastructure. 

He served as CFO for CEPSA's LATAM and Southeast Asia operations, leading finance teams across seven countries and overseeing divestments, development plans, and capital allocation decisions worth USD 100M+. 

His experience spans valuation, forecasting, project finance, FP&A, and risk management, developing business cases using NPV, DCF, IRR, LCOE, LCOH, and scenario analysis to evaluate and prioritise viable projects and strategic partnerships.  

 At BOOM, Javier leads economic analysis and financial modelling, ensuring projects are commercially sustainable, bankable, and investment ready. 

 SENIOR PROJECT & DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER 

With 20 years in gas, pipelines, and energy infrastructure, Alberto specialises in project management and pipeline integrity across hydrogen and renewable energy projects.

At Fortescue, he led engineering activities for green hydrogen, green ammonia, and SAF developments. Earlier at TGN, Argentina's leading natural gas transmission operator, he spent over a decade in project management and pipeline integrity. 

 His experience spans hydrogen, ammonia, SAF, pipelines, and integrity management, bringing practical engineering expertise to complex energy infrastructure developments. 

At BOOM, Alberto supports project development, feasibility studies, technology selections, and early-stage execution, helping transform opportunities into deliverable hydrogen infrastructure projects.

 INFRASTRUCTURE INTELLIGENCE PLATFORM LEAD 

With over a decade at the intersection of GIS, BIM, and infrastructure systems, Alejandro specialises in infrastructure intelligence, digital twins, and decision-support platforms.

He has built platforms integrating engineering, BIM, GIS, cost, schedule, and operational data, transforming fragmented information into digital environments supporting better-informed infrastructure decisions. 

His experience spans GIS, BIM, automation, Python, PostGIS, and data engineering, combining infrastructure knowledge with scalable digital systems and near real-time analytics. 

At BOOM, Alejandro is architecting the Infrastructure Intelligence Platform, progressively connecting GIS, routing, engineering, permitting, commercial, and reporting engines to identify optimal infrastructure solutions balancing cost, risk, constructability, and schedule.
