Pearse O'Connell is a distinguished leader in the energy and energy transition sectors, boasting over two decades of hands-on experience in development, engineering, procurement, construction, and project management of gas pipelines. His strategic approach to overcoming complex industry challenges and his innovative vision for renewable energy make him a driving force in the field.

Qualifications and Credentials
Pearse holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and has been certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP), Risk Management Professional (RMP), and Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP). His expertise and strategic acumen are further underscored by certifications in Quality Assurance by City & Guilds.

Engineering and Management Excellence
As an owner’s engineering lead, Pearse has overseen the design of over 4,500 kilometers of pipelines on a SHELL LNG development project. These projects, characterized by their scale and complexity, were executed with a total installed cost exceeding €600 million.

Leadership in Major Projects
Pearse has played a pivotal role in managing the development phases of gas field programs with projects ranging from €150 million to €600 million. His strategic guidance has successfully navigated projects through sanction gates, including the introduction of 400 kilometers of new gas pipelines.

Current Work with H2 and New Energy Project Developers
Pearse currently consults for renewable, new energy, and hydrogen project developers, bringing his wealth of experience to the forefront of the rapidly evolving hydrogen sector. Additionally, he has been involved in project management of advanced hydrogen and SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel) production facilities, guiding them from feasibility to execution.

Emergency Response Leadership
Pearse brings robust emergency response management experience, having overseen response strategies for over 1,500 kilometers of pipeline during critical incidents. His leadership ensured safety and continuity during emergencies, culminating in nearly five years of dedicated emergency management.
